Valentines Day.

This Valentine’s Day was like no other. My significant other called up a local pizza shop 3 days in advanced to ship me a pie at exactly 3PM today. She kept insisting I go downstairs and out of my bedroom, but, wouldn’t tell me why. I almost thought she was out of her mind, borderline insane. lol. She kept telling me to trust her and I went down stairs. I sat on the couch. She tried starting up a bullshit convo like “how was your day?” just to pass time. I heard a noise outside and she asked me “oh yea?!, what kind of noise?!” with a mischevious smile on her face. Next thing I know the door bell rang and the pizza man hands me a box and I was so confused. I had no idea I’d be expecting a pie or anything for that matter, she caught me off guard. So this is what a surprise feels like, it felt so unreal. I haven’t been surprised since the age of 10 years old. 

She also got me a bunch of cute and sweet sentimental things and made sure to make my stressful week of school end on a good note. Cute stuffed animals and chocolates lol. :D But, she got me a box of chocolate specifically so that I give it to my mom. My significant knows me more than anyone else, and she knows that I have a terrible relationship with my parents because I have secluded myself from them emotionally and verbally. I haven’t shown them any type of affection or gratitude for ever since I was 14. Anyways, I had to fight within myself and she encouraged me to give the chocolates to my mom. I got up and went to my mom, who I haven’t gotten a gift for since my elementary school days. I gave her the box and my mom kissed my hand and said I love you too. She was so happy and appreciative of me. I became nervous because this feeling was too foreign to me. I felt the need to crack a joke, all I could say is, “Don’t let dad see these chocolates, or he’s going to eat them all.” 

This Valentine’s Day was like no other. I feel like I am dreaming. Boundaries have been broken. I am changing day by day thanks to my motivation and inspiration. Thank you so much Safari Gage, I don’t think I could live life a day without you. You are my drug. Happy Valentine’s Day babygirl. >3333333
